The Story of
 Star Island

I went on vacation to Star Island, where I volunteered at their
gift shop.

The highlight was experimenting with marketing by using a mannequin named Stella.

She became quite a
star; creating fashion trends, and even developing her own persona.

I hope you all get to
meet her on Star Island ten miles off
the coast of
Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Donna Kelleher; Next Generation Children's Centers
Educating Children and Taking Care of Business

Joanna Meiseles
Donna Kelleher and grandson
"I opened the first Next Generation Children's Center in Natick, Massachusetts back in 1993 after searching-and not finding-a suitable daycare solution for my first grandchild. That search made me realize there was a tremendous need for quality childcare for working parents.

Since then, my team has opened several schools throughout eastern Massachusetts. We are continuing to expand to fill the demand for our services and programs. With each new school, we will continue to innovate and improve the design of our childcare centers, the quality of our teachers and the educational value of our curriculum. In our unrelenting commitment to excellence, we will continue to "raise the bar" for all childcare centers in our area.

Our growth is due in large part to our unwavering commitment to provide parents and their children with the highest possible quality care and educational experience.

Next Generation is a local, family-owned business, made up of hundreds of professional educators and thousands of families. Our success also comes from maintaining our role as an industry leader and innovator, creating programs tailored to meet the needs of our students during each unique stage of their development."

Meet owner Donna Kelleher and hear her story of how she created her business concept and grew one center into ten.
