Greetings!
Welco me to the Dream Factory! As we move into March-the winter is passing and spring is on the way. It is a great time to prepare to re-new and re-vitalize. I personally have started to work on shedding the winter insulation through healthy eating and smart exercise. If you are what you eat, think, and experience, it is time to bring a new consciousness to those important decisions that make up your life. To be fulfilled CDO's, we must treat ourselves well on all levels, so we can be the facilitators of our dreams. Our upcoming offerings are consistent with that theme. The Women in Business Luncheon on March 11th, Naomi Paul will speak on Invest in your Health; It Will Pay Dividendsand the Annual Dream Factory Community Retreat/Conference, April 29th and 30th, is Dream Big!! Dream It, Be It, Source It, focusing on the self-care that will provide the energy needed to source your dreams.Best,Nancy CantorCDO of the Dream Factory

FEATURE ARTICLE: Invest in Your Health - It Will Pay Dividends!
|
by Naomi Paul Holistic Health Counselor www.healthcoachnaomi.com
March Women in Business Luncheon Speaker
Care enough about yourself to invest in your own personal health account; it pays dividends short term and long term. Think of a bank account. Would you agree that the more money you invest in that account, the more money you will have when you need it? The same is true for our health. The more we invest in nourishing our bodies and feeding it real food, the greater return we will earn on our investment (good health!). And we will be paid big dividends: lose weight without dieting, have more energy, build a strong immune system, look healthy and young naturally, reduce our risk of disease. Is this worth the investment? Read entire article. During my presentation at the Women in Business Luncheon on March 11th:
- Learn how to make healthy food choices.
- Hear more about my story on why I decided to take the healthy path.
- Find out how being healthy trumps the weight card.
- Hear about simple steps I have taken over these years that have
kept me feeling younger and more energized than I was 17 years ago.

Practical Advice for Your Job Search! by Nancy Dube
While I do not know the background of the author of 10 Guerilla job Hunting Tactics on Salary.com, Amitai Givertz, I challenge her tactics and want to offer you real-life experience and help to get back to work.
As I read the article entitled 10 Guerilla Job Hunting Tactics by Amitai Givertz, contributing writer for Salary.com I wondered how practical these tips would be for the average job seeker? I reflected on my own experience with people who have contacted me for help. Let me examine these questions 1 by 1 and give you my real life answer.Read entire article.
Achieving Balance by Penny Dickson
The notion of balance seems to be something I am always striving for in my life.
Balance can take many forms. For me balance means equal amounts of work time and play time, social time and solitude, physical activity and stillness, discipline and reward.
In Nature, one can see the balance in the seasons. Winter is when both plant and animal life slow down their rhythms, go dormant or hibernate. In our lives, we unfortunately don't have the opportunity to hibernate, although it is tempting! Read entire article.
Life Hands Us Lemons by Deborah Strafuss
For a moment, let us use the American notion of citrus, and let us consider a life without lemons - what we all dream of, no bitter moments, no biting sting on an open wound, no painful parts. No earthquakes and hurricanes, no famine or war, no pestilence or death, no betrayal or disease, no anger or violence, no pollution, no fear or ignorance...no disappointments and setbacks...Read entire article.
What to Look for On Your 2009 Taxes by Melissa Discolo
2009 was a tough year for most of us. While the tax breaks for the general public are not life changing, they can certainly add some cash to your pocket. Hopefully your accountant will be asking you the questions that can save you money.
Just in case, here is what you should be looking for.Read entire article.
All You Need Is Love! by Marianne Hennigan, RN
"All you need is love..."
John Lennon had the right idea...."love is all you need..." Heart shaped chocolates, overpriced flowers, or shiny jewelry, yes, all those things are very nice but really not what love is all about.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it only seems appropriate to focus this entry on the topic of love. Not that I am an expert on the topic by any means, it just seems to be the dominant focus when one hears the word "Valentine." I am not even sure who Saint Valentine is or how or why this holiday originated. But I sense the potential for something bigger, more inspiring than just lacey cards and pricey Valentine gifts. Falling In Love With Your One Precious Body by Goddess Oceana
You're thinking that this is downright impossible, and you're not even sure you want to anyway, right?! I hear you, sister.
You and I have been programmed at a young age to view our bodies as shameful vessels of imperfection. Cross your legs like a lady, cover any natural body scent with artificial fragrances, and be nice are the messages we receive. Be polite, coy, and agreeable. Learn to cook and get a career to pay for everything. In fact, learn how to do everything so that any man you're lucky enough to snag will be completely cared for, nurtured, and thrilled at how easily you cooperate and pop out a family for him while you bring home the bacon and craft it into a gourmet creation. No muss no fuss! Have I got your attention? Read entire article.

February is upon us as well as the snow. It is the month of Valentine's Day and the reminder of enhancing our relationships as well as all aspects of our lives with a little romance to brighten these midwinter days.
