Maximizing Your Financial Potential

When Leah Alvanos was 10 years old, she found herself in her local bank requesting a meeting with the "man in charge of making money grow".

As the daughter of a first-generation Greek immigrant, she knew that her mom could do better and make more with the money she had.

Fast-forward to the present, and meet Leah who will tell us about her experiences as the owner of a chain of salons, a real estate investor, and a single woman who has made it independently in the financial world.

Some of her credentials include:

  • Appointed to the office of business development by the Mayor of Boston.
  • Member of the Board of Boston Five Cents Savings Bank
  • National Leadership Award and Honorary Chairman of the Massachusetts Business Advisory Council.

Leah says, "My passion for business, independence, and financial literacy has never waned. I am dedicated to helping women and families achieve financial security through education".

Don't miss this luncheon! October 8th, 12-2, at the Aegean Restaurant, 257 Cochituate Rd, Framingham.

Come find out how to Maximize your Financial Potential and why our Dream Factory members excel in life and in business.

The stars that you see are an indication of what happens to people who take the CDO Training.

Would you like to:

  1. shine a little brighter?
  2. be clearer on your direction and action-plan?
  3. know what to do when you lose your way?
  4. create a community of support to facilitate the journey?

Everyone who joins the Dream Factory Community for women entrepreneurs gets to participate in this training, but did you know that it can be delivered in private coaching sessions, as a telecourse, and as a corporate training?

Lately, men, corporate executives and a professional organization for administrative assistants have benefited from the CDO principles.

Want to shine? Participate in our next CDO Training on October 28th, 10am- 4:30pm which includes membership in the Dream Factory Community or contact us so we can bring it to you and your organization.

Great for fostering teamwork based on a greater purpose and vision.

Prosperity Circle Participant Is Quoted in the Globe
Lucia

Some of our members, meet monthly in Prosperity Circles to support one another in being centered, accountable and more business-savvy.

Each group is led by a member who is trained monthly to support their circle. Recently, a Prosperity Circle member was recognized in the Globe for the work she is doing to educate children in Bellingham regarding finances.

They wrote: Katia Stiefel, a financial services professional with the insurance company, New York Life, will work with parents, in determining how much of their allowance children should save versus how much they spend.

"A lot of adults don't even understand the concept of saving for the long term, so if you can teach your kids to do it, then they can do it as adults,'' Stiefel said.

Empowered Girls

Self-esteem is all about how much we feel valued, loved, accepted, and thought well of by others - and how much we value, love, and accept ourselves.

Pre-teen girls are especially susceptible to experience low self-esteem, when peer pressure, body image, and the media bombard them with unrealistic expectations.

Empowered Girls provides tools for girls ages 8 to 13 and their mothers (or other adult female mentor) to help open communications, build trust, and foster positive self images.

Join the movement to empower the next generation of women!

Empowered Girls is the brainchild of entrepreneur Joanna Meiseles. Joanna is the founder of Snip-its, a franchised chain of hair salons and party venues focused on children ages one through nine.

After 15 years building her company, Joanna is now broadening her focus to writing, speaking, and teaching about self-esteem issues in girls.

She grew up in Beverly Hills, CA, attended Duke University, and now resides in Wayland, MA with her husband Brad and four children.

We are very excited to be offering a FREE workshop led by Joanna on October 18th, 2:15- 4:45pm at the Downtown Framingham Library. We can only take 4-8 mother-daughter pairs, so register quickly if you would like to attend.
