 Our guests discuss what Maryland and the Eastern Shore are doing to develop and support business growth and entrepreneurship: - Upper Shore Regional Council is supporting Md's "Economic Gardening Initiatives". The focus is on building up businesses in technology, agriculture and others. They have partnered with Washington College to develop the Harvest Directory a resource of agriculture businesses and the products they produce.
- Mike talks about some new opportunities for entrepreneurs including video taping a "sales" pitch. See information under events. The bus will be in Easton, Chestertown and Chesapeake College on September 13th. There is also a business plan competition and much more including a new training program for entrepreneurs .
