What is the Best Method of Travel to the Islands?

Even a duck knows the best way to get across Lake Erie is on the Jet Express and the 2012 Duck Derby organizers want to make that trip even easier for you with FREE Jet Express companion tickets!

Organizers of the annual event announced today that each individual who purchases a $20 Lucky Duck for the April 20, 2012 event, will be eligible to receive a free Jet Express companion ticket.

"We are excited about this opportunity," said Pam Brumbaugh, Executive Director of United Way of Erie County and one of the event co-organizers. "This is the first time in our seven year history that we have been able to offer this incentive with the purchase of each duck."

By purchasing a Luck Duck any individual may choose to receive a buy one, get one free round-trip ticket for the Jet Express - a value of up to $44 - to be utilized by Oct 28, 2012. Some restrictions apply and tickets are only offered while supplies last (see the Duck Derby website for full details).

Presented by United Way of Erie County and Sandusky Main Street Association, the Duck Derby features prizes including a pre-paid lease on a 2012 Chevy Cruise, compliments of Kasper Auto Group; two all-ports season passes on the Jet Express, provided by The Jet Express; a weekend getaway package at the Kalahari Resort, provided by the Kalahari; and a $1,000 Sandusky Mall gift package, compliments of the Sandusky Mall.

Lucky Duck owners do not have to be present on April 20 to win prizes.

There are three ways to purchase your Lucky Duck:

1) Go to any Kasper Auto Dealership

2) Go to the Sandusky Mall Customer Service Center or the Gift Wrapping Station

3) Purchase on-line at www.duckderby.com

The 2012 Duck Derby will be held on April 20 at the Kalahari Resort and you are welcome to bring friends and guests. More information will follow as the date approaches.
