It will be a shelter and a shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place...Isaiah 4:6
The Refuge Newlsetter
Summer 2011
NON-PROFIT STATUS
Refuge of Light recently
received its 501(c)3.
The safe home will receive its licensure as a GRO (general residential operation). Be in prayer as we discuss and establish a Memorandum of Understaning with a partnering child placing agency.
Prayer Team for Tyler
We are in the process of establishing our prayer team for the Tyler area. Please let us know if you feel called to serve in this capacity. This is the MOST important aspect of what we do at the Refuge. Prayer is essential for God's guidance & protection. Being involved in this ministry will require e-mail access, prayer conference calls and a commitment to PRAY.
Prevention programs are the best way to prepare our children in case they are confronted by an on-line predator or met face to face with a trafficker.
Don't wait...
it could be too late.

"Children are priceless and should never be used as a commodity. We want to say thank you to Governor Perry, Senator Van de Putte, Representative Thompson, and all the others who have worked so diligently to pass legislation that makes it clear, Texas will not turn a blind eye to the horrors of human trafficking."- Refuge of Light
