2012 Fun in the Sun and Scavenger Hunt

Fun in the Sun Family & Friends Picnic - Monday, July 30, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Join us for organized games, food, and sprinkler fun for all ages!  Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket for the picnic.  Registration is $3/per person and this includes a BBQ lunch.  The deadline for registration is Sunday! Email Kal at kotis@southparkchurch.org or register when you pick up your children from Wonderland or Echo.

 

scavenger hunt Family & Friends Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, August 18, 3 - 6 p.m.
This event is for families with kids 1st grade and older... but younger and older siblings can join the fun!  Invite grandparents, uncles, friends...whoever you want.  Pack your car with family and/or friends, bring a camera and come join us for 90 minutes of scavenging around town, then back to church for pizza and pop as we determine the winner of the 2012 Scavenger Hunt.  Register by August 11 with payment of $10/family.  Click here for registration form and additional instructions. 

 

Youth Ministry

Summer JAM/1:20 - Through August 15, JAM/1:20 will meet on Wednesdays from 7 - 9 p.m. at the the church. Activities will take place both inside and outside.  Summer series:  Most Misused Verses of the Bible.

Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPSMOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers - Wednesdays beginning September

MOPS is now accepting registrations for the new MOPS year beginning in Sept 2012. Registrations are available at the Welcome Center or in the Church office in the MOPS box. MOPS is a community of moms who share a similar desire to be the very best mom they were created to be!  Cost is $150.00 for the year. For more information, contact Caitlyn Warren at caitlynwarren@comcast.net.

 

MOPS is also looking for volunteers to help with MOPPETS.

MOPPETS is our children's program and that occurs during MOPS. This program allows our women to attend MOPS and enjoy a morning that feeds them with fellowship, faith and food! Kane County Flea Market - Saturday, August 4, 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Join us for a fun day of shopping for treasures.   We will meet in the South Park Church parking lot to pile in cars and caravan out to the Flea Market.  $5 for entrance fee and $5 for gas money.  Sign-up beginning this Sunday at the Welcome Center.

  

Iron Men Iron Men Saturdays 7:00-8:30 a.m.

Join us during the summer series of Iron Men as we study the book of Galatians. The series will speak to the crucial issue of how to exercise visionary leadership in all aspects of our lives. We will study how to establish our leadership from within to impact others in our lives.  No registration necessary...just show up!  Questions?  Click here for more information.

Join IREF for a beautiful day of golf, silent auction, followed by dinner and an IREF ministry update. Your participation is a fun opportunity to raise funding, but to also introduce your friends to the ministry you have so faithfully supported through the years.
