IREF Silent Auction & Bake Sale
Sunday, November 13
Following Both Services
Some members of South Park Church who are making a difference and having an impact in our world include Sr. Pastor Eric Flood, Peggy Boysen, Suzanne Hein and Lilly Staar. They are all part of a missions trip to Repalle, India to assist India Rural Evangelical Fellowship (IREF). They leave for two weeks from January 28 to February 11, 2012.
They will be serving at IREF in the following ways:
- Assisting medical teams from Scotland, United Kingdom and the United States with annual checkups at the orphanage and area villages. They'll also be giving medicated shampoo treatments to the overwhelming number of children with scabies.
- Taking turns in food service, making meals and supervising the college girls in the kitchen.
- Participating in the 4 days of Gospel meetings with an anticipated group of 25,000.
- The women will be giving one-on-one time with the young, orphan girls playing, reading and simply conversing.
- Light construction and much needed painting at a local church
A Silent Auction & Bake Sale will be held this Sunday, November 13, after both worship services. The purpose of this fundraising event is to offset the significant cost and expense of this mission trip. We are still seeking donations of baked goods, merchandise, gifts certificates and services to be auctioned at this event.
You can help by both donating items for the Silent Auction and purchasing items at this great event. If you can't think of anything to donate or purchase, we will gladly accept any size cash donation. Checks should be made payable to: IREF. If you would like to assist in any way, please contact June Tinaglia @ 847-518-9342 or email info@southparkchurch.org.
Thank you for your consideration and God bless everyone directly and indirectly (you) involved in this mission trip.

| Beyond the Walls...YouShare | |
Beyond the Walls is the plan of action from the sermon series - Be the Church. We desire our church to be more responsive to meeting the needs of those in our community. Do you have items at home that you can share with someone (mattress, plates, etc)? What is extra to you may meet another's desperate need. What skills or abilities do you or your children have that can be shared with someone else? Let us know by visiting www.youshare.org and register as a neighbor (choose South Park). Or click here to print and return the insert to the church office. You will then be notified of opportunities to minister to others according to what you've said you have to offer... and Thanks for Sharing - Be the Church!
