TPCA LOGOPRINCIPALLY SPEAKING

To the Families & Parents of Twin Peaks:

It is a daunting task to write an end-of-the-year article as compared to even trying to summarize what we did on a vacation, as we so often ask students when they come back to school in August. As I reflect on the past year, it's difficult to describe all the details of what has taken place for students, staff and even you as parents at TPCA. We have grown, expanded and will continue to grow to a K - 12 model. As I write this, my thoughts turn to every staff member supporting TPCA both instructionally and non-instructionally who have poured themselves into each of our students, everyday & all day for over 170 days of planned instruction.

Thank you for your support of the 2011-2012 yearbook! In fact the support was so great that we are now out of yearbooks and the
2011-2012 yearbook year is now closed with a big THANK YOU!
We will start sales for the 2012-2013 yearbook in August.
See you then. Thank you, Mr. Bean

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Marni Cherniss and I'm the volunteer Box Tops coordinator at Twin Peaks Charter Academy.

If a company taped a dime to a package, wouldn't you take it off and put it in your piggy bank? That's exactly what this is and we need you to save your Box Tops and send them in to your student's homeroom class!! The next collection deadline and contest will be in the fall so be sure to clip and save all summer.

UNIFORM EXCHANGE 2012

The next Uniform Exchange and Sale will be held on

August 2, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  This event offers families the opportunity to exchange dress code clothing in good condition (free of holes, stains, and excessive wear).  Items are exchanged at a rate of 2:1; for every 2 items donated, 1 item may be selected for free.  Clothing is also sold at $2 per item.  Families who donate clothing are allowed into the Exchange 30 minutes early in order to have a first chance to select exchanges.  Clothing is now being accepted for the Exchange.  A list of families who donate and amount to be credited is maintained.  Credit  carries over for one year so families who had credit last year may still select clothing this year.

Please contact Colette Lottor,303-678-1642, or  rejcbl@msn.com  for more information as to how to participate or to give clothing.
