VOLUNTEER  REQUESTS:

1. The third grade team is looking for donations of waders for further outdoor water adventures.
2. Volunteers needed to assist with the set up, running of, and clean up for the Uniform Exchange on August 2.  Volunteers are needed between 10am - 7pm.  For every hour worked, pick one free article of clothing! Contact Colette Lottor, 303-678-1642, or rejcbl@msn.com for more information.
3. Second grade teachers are looking for donations of the book Charlotte's Web.  Please send any copies directly to the teachers.
4. Our K-3rd grade teachers are in need of gently used (or new) books to improve their classroom library selections. Books can be sent directly to any of the teachers.
The music dept. is in need of help on Monday, May 21st 3:30-4:30pm to haul a donated piano from a local residence to TPCA. We need a sturdy truck and/or trailer PLUS 3-4 able-bodied adults. Please contact Brett Johnson at johnson_brett@svvsd.org to help out!

And Beyond...

Thank you to all who donated to the capital campaign.  Although we did not reach our goal we made the half way point and will continue to raise money next year toward our goal.

Mrs. Norman would like to thank Kim Kroeger for all her help with the Third Grade Ecology Day, as well as all the third-grade parents who helped us to have an exciting, safe day.

King Soopers cards and Safeway re-loadable cards will be sold this Thursday, May 17th 2:45 to 3:10 in the front lobby.  King Soopers cards are $5 and Safeway cards are $10.  Remember to use and reload your cards throughout the summer to support PTO.  Funds earned support our teachers, students and family activities.
