 Twin Peaks Student Selected for Youth Leadership Award
Madeline Whitcomb
was recently selected to attend this year's
RYLA summer program.
RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
Madeline will attend the leadership conference in Larkspur Colorado at the end of July. Only students entering the 8th grade were eligible and selected based on their application, leadership in and away from of school, a written essay, and an interview with Rotary members. Madeline is the only representative from TPCA and one of only 8 students in the district attending the camp this summer.

 UNIFORM EXCHANGE 2012
The next Uniform Exchange and Sale will be held on August 2, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This event offers families the opportunity to exchange dress code clothing in good condition (free of holes, stains, and excessive wear). Items are exchanged at a rate of 2:1; for every 2 items donated, 1 item may be selected for free. Clothing is also sold at $2 per item. Families who donate clothing are allowed into the Exchange 30 minutes early in order to have a first chance to select exchanges. Clothing is now be accepted for the Exchange. A list of families who donate and amount to be credited is maintained. Credit carries over for one year so families who had credit last year may still select clothing this year.
