VOLUNTEER REQUESTS:
- SCIENCE FAIR NEEDS JUDGES!!!! This year's science fair will be held on Thursday and Friday, January 12th and 13th. We need volunteers to come and help judge the students' science fair projects. Science background not required. Please consider being a judge this January. It only takes about an hour, and it is very rewarding to see the quality and excellence of the finalists' projects. Judging will take place all day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can come in at anytime on either the 12th or 13th to help judge. Please contact Brian Birch at birch_brian@svvsd.org if you are interested.
- Parents are welcome to the K-5 science curriculum subcommittee meeting on Tuesday, December 6, at 3:30pm in the west media center. Our goal is to identify supplemental science materials to help support our teachers at each grade level. Contact Lisa Bohannon at bohannon_lisa@svvsd.org with any questions.
- Mrs. Terry is looking for a parent who could take some of her students' five paragraph essays and type them up for model papers. This is a perfect job for someone who can only volunteer from home. Please contact Mrs. Terry at terry_patricia@svvsd.org.
Don't forget to log your volunteer hours.
When you come in to volunteer, please record
your hours on the daily volunteer time sheet
located on the volunteer table in the main lobby.
You may also email your hours directly to me:

Reserved Parking | | |
Each month, we select three Volunteers of the Month. One of the perks as Volunteer of the Month is that they are assigned one of the designated Reserved Parking spaces. Although it may be tempting to park in one of these spaces, we ask that you leave them open for the person whose name is on the sign. |

Infinite Campus Parent Portal issues
Over the weekend, the district had some problems with IC. As a result, many of our staff, parents and students accounts were disabled. If you account is still disabled, please contact either Beverly Weinberg at weinberg_beverly@svvsd.org or Marilyn Putrah at putrah_marilyn@svvsd.org. Please allow us 2 working days to reactivate your account. Thank you for your patience. |
