VOLUNTEER REQUESTS:
- Hearing and Vision Volunteers Needed
The hearing and vision screening this year will be on December 5th and 9th. Please call Kathy in the Health Office if you are interested in helping out either one of those days. Please only volunteer if you are able to work at least one of the days for the entire day. Contact Kathy Coombe at 303-772-7286 or coombe_kathrine@svvsd.org. - Are you interested in helping out with the annual Twin Peaks Career Fair? Last year our inaugural Fair was a success, and we anticipate it will get better! Especially with the addition of our high school! To help begin organizing this event for the spring, contact Lori West at west_lori@svvsd.org.
- Photographers needed to take pictures of sports, school events, and clubs. Photos will be used for area publications. For details, contact Beverly at weinberg_beverly@svvsd.org.
- Volunteers needed for home HS boys basketball games. We will need: 1 scoreboard operator and
1 scorebook keeper for each of the following games and ask that they arrive 20min prior to scheduled tip-off time.

PTO King Soopers Reloadable Gift Cards
Thank you to all the families who have purchased the cards and have been using them. In October, we had over $10,000 in reloads - that is AWESOME!
Cards will be available for purchase Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 2:50 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. in the West Campus front lobby.
$5.00 per card, each card has a $5.00 balance - we earn a 5% rebate for every dollar you load and reload on the cards. You can use your credit card to load funds, and you do use your King Soopers Card at the register, earning your fuel points!
HOLIDAY SHOPPING TIP: If you're planning to purchase a lot of gift cards this year, buy them at King Soopers! Load money on your TPCA King Soopers Gift Card, and then use that card to pay for your other gift cards!

IMPORTANT
TPCA follows the St. Vrain Valley School District's decision about unscheduled school closings. Although SVVSD has scheduled late start days every first Wednesday of the month, TPCA does not observe late start days.
SVVSD officials have stated that a decision will be made by 5:00 a.m. regarding school closure. Once there is a decision made about opening school, there would not be early release. Please check the District's website at www.stvrain.k12.co.us for immediate updates and information on closures. In addition, you may check local television and radio stations who broadcast school closure information. SVVSD also provides a recorded message on its Emergency News Line at 303-682-7387. |
