ASTRONOMY NIGHT
BIG THANK YOU!
Thanks to each and everyone of you that helped to make it happen. Our best estimate is that we had over 700 people in attendance. That's more than three times the number in previous years. All the parents and especially the kids seemd to have a good time, and they probably even learned a little bit along the way.
Special thanks to Ball and SWRI for sponsoring, to our speakers who took time to prepare and deliver outstanding talks, and to the Boulder Astronomy and Space Society for hosting a fantastic telescope party.
A big thank you also goes to our parent volunteers, and to the TPCA school staff for their enthusiasm, and support of the event. It was a tremendous team effort and it paid off big time. It was a pleasure working with all of you. Cheers, Scot

Picture retakes are October 28. Students who need a retake need to bring back their original photos and complete a retake form that will be available in both the east and west campus front offices. Any students who were not at school on September 30,will need to report to the commons area when called over the intercom. |
Dear Parents of this year's new students: If you have not yet completed a New Parent Survey, we would like to hear from you! You can submit your input via Survey Monkey through tomorrow, 10/21/11. (See email sent to you on 10/6/11 for link). Otherwise, please submit your printed form to either the West or East campus reception desk while you are here for Parent/Teacher conferences. Thank you!

From the Health Office Thank you so much for all of the donations that have poured in from our dedicated parents! It has truly been a generous show of support and is very appreciated. Your donations have literally FILLED our cabinets! If there are parents that still want to donate to the health office, the only thing that we still need is KLEENEX. When the cold and flu season hits we will go through our stash of tissues very quickly! Be sure to write your donation on your volunteer card in the lobby on the west side of the building. Again, thank you! Kathy Coombe Health Clerk |
Picture Taking Friends and Family of Twin PeaksIf you have pictures that you would like to be considered for the yearbook, please access the community upload site below. Thank you. Please note that submitted pictures may or may not be used. Code: SXSUQO

Yearbook Orders
Early yearbook orders (soft cover = $20 and hard cover = $24) will be accepted until November 18. After that date, the regular price of the soft cover will be $25 and hard cover will be $30. Please make your yearbook checks payable to TPCA.
Get those order forms turned in to your student's first hour teacher soon!
Attendance Marks on Report CardsFirst Quarter report cards will be coming out soon! Parents often wonder about all of the "T"s that show up on report cards. Any time a student comes late, leaves early, or is gone for part of the day, that time is recorded as part of their attendance. When Infinite Campus pulls that data into report cards, it records all of them as a "T." If you ever have specific questions about your student's attendance, or would like to see their attendance, please let me know. Brandie Yeutter, Attendance Clerk or 720-494-3606

Your child's class has been invited to walk a mile as an activity for Make A Difference Day, and in honor of this year's

If you would also like to donate to this cause, Mrs. Mills has included TPCA as an official "team member".
