All TPCA Parents

Fall conferences are rapidly approaching on October 20 and 21. Because the staff is at school all day and into the evening, parents and the PTO provide dinner each night for all 90 staff. To help defray costs to the PTO, we are asking you to help provide the ingredients for a burrito bar on Thursday, October 20. (The PTO will cater a meal on Friday). There are many items needed. Please click on the following address and sign up next to the item or items you would like to contribute: www.bit.ly/n2DDcV.

If anyone would be interested in purchasing some or all of the tortillas needed (10 doz.), please contact Barb. We would like to purchase all of them at Las Americanas Tortilla Shop at 9th and Lashley).

Please bring your items to West Campus Office by 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 20. If you have any questions please e-mail or call Barb Antonucci at bjantonucci@gmail.com or 303-775-0318.

PTO No Bake Sale
TPCA PTO NO BAKE SALE HAS BEGUN !!!
This is our  BIG, YEARLY  Fundraising Drive!  All we're asking for is cash donations! There is no selling, no inventory to deliver, and definitely NO BAKING! We hope to raise $25,000 this year and average around  $40 per student. Any amount that your family is able to donate (tax deductible) will help us tremendously! You can ask your friends and family to make a monetary contribution, and many employers have a Matching Gifts Program. Every dollar counts! We will graciously accept donations throughout the year.
We will end the No Bake Sale Drive on November 10 so that we can deliver the participation prizes and conduct the prize drawings. We have very cool prizes this year!
The funds we raise directly support the students, staff, teachers, and the campus.
The PTO financially assists and supports many functions and activities:
 * Teacher/ Classroom Supplies
 * Field Trip Assistance
 * Volunteer Appreciation
 * 6th Grade Outdoor Ed
 * 8th Grade Graduation
 * Family/Student Social Events
 * Conference Meals
 * As feasible, and as requested, we support all the various groups, clubs, and teams,and SO MANY other things during the year. The PTO is always open to input and suggestions from parents, and we strongly encourage you to come to our meetings! For additional information on the No Bake Sale, or how to help the PTO, please contact any of the PTO Members!

Astronomy Night 2011 Thank You

Special Thank You!

"Wow!  What a great night!  Thanks to each and everyone of you that helped to make it happen.  Our best estimate is that we had over 700 people in attendance.  That's more than three times the number in previous years. All the parents and especially the kids seems to have a good time, and they probably even learned a little bit along the way. Special thanks to Ball and SwRI for sponsoring, to our speakers who took time to prepare and deliver outstanding talks, and to the Boulder Astronomy and Space Society for hosting a fantastic telescope party. A big thank you also goes to our parent volunteers, and to the TPCA school staff for their enthusiasm and support of the event.  It was a tremendous team effort and it paid off big time. It was a pleasure working with all of you."
