PRIME AMERICA ATTENDS COSMOPROF 2011

On the weekend of July 22, Prime America Logistics, Inc. was one of the thousands of businesses that attended Cosmoprof North America - the only all-encompassing business-to-business beauty trade show event in North America!

 

Organized by product categories, there were four pavilions that covered the entire spectrum of the beauty industry. Prime was able to explore the Cosmetics Personal Care PavilionPackaging, Contract Manufacturing & Private LabelsSpa & Wellness, and Professional Hair, Nails & Tools to see trends and newness from within all segments of the beauty industry.  

 

Cosmoprof is a must in terms of networking opportunities. Attendees are able to see existing business contacts and friends during the numerous special events planned over the course of the three days. A particular highlight of the event for Prime America was the opportunity to meet George Schaeffer, President/CEO of OPI Products Inc., one of Prime's biggest clients. An overall success, Prime was more than happy to attend the event and celebrate the business of beauty!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MIKE MCRAE, TERMINAL MANAGER
Mike McRae, Statesville, NC

Terminal Manager

Mike McRae began employment with Prime America Logistics, Inc. in 2007. He is a Terminal Manager at our Statesville, North Carolina location and is a large asset to the dispatch team.

 

Mike graduated from Thomasville High School in Thomasville, North Carolina and attended North Carolina Central University on a football scholarship. Prior to Prime America, he worked in transportation for Billings Freight Systems for 15 years as a dockworker.

 

Mike is known to always offer assistance to clients and co-workers when they are trying to achieve their goals. "Prime America has given me the opportunity to enhance my ability in logistics and management," he says. "I have obtained extensive knowledge of providing transportation services throughout the United Sates."

 

With the high demands of his job duties at Prime, Mike utilizes every opportunity he has to spend quality time with his family. He has a wife of 23 years, a daughter at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a son, a senior in high school.

OPI PRODUCTS INC. VISITS PRIME HEADQUARTERS

On Friday, August 19th, Prime America was visited by the lovely Ms. Linda Lennox, Director of Traffic, Inventory Control & Mailroom at OPI Products Inc.

 

The entire corporate office was eager to meet her and discuss Prime's performance over the past year. Jennifer Monroe, Customer Service Manager at Prime America Logistics, Inc., said: "Most of the office works with Linda and her team directly, so it was great getting to meet her and put a face to the name." 

 

During her visit, Lennox expressed her appreciation for Prime's increase in security provisions and the promptness and hard work that each Prime employee provides her and her team. 

 

Prime was honored that Lennox made the time to visit headquarters in the City of Industry;  visits like these are what reinforce Prime's strive to build good partnerships within the personal care industry.
