Rev-W

Greetings Friends,

As we head towards the end of the month we're nearing the end of our series God: Characters Welcome. We still have two very interesting characters to talk about and learn from. This week we will hear from the life story of Samuel, one of God's greatest judges. Following his service his sons were given the task of being the people's ruling force. They didn't live up to their father's example, and soon the people were crying out for a King. It was heart-breaking for Samuel, but more than that it would lead the people of Israel down a difficult road. God allows the Israelites' demands to be met even as God is sovereign--he works with their demands.

Can you think of a time when God has worked with you even when your choices haven't been God's best for you? This week both Pastor Craig and I will look at what happens when the people demand less than God's best. I am looking forward to sharing with the Mission Viejo campus as Pastor Craig will be preaching at the Santa Margarita site!

Blessings,

Pastor Sarah and the Pastoral Team
