Week of April 8th, 2012 

Hello Friends,  

This week is the beginning of a new series, "The Church with No Walls." As we prepare for this series, I keep thinking about a song I sang as a child. The words went something like this - "The Church is not a building, the Church is not a steeple, the Church is not a resting place, the Church is a people. I am the Church, you are the Church, we are the Church together." The song has always stuck with me and reminds me of just what we are supposed to be, a group of people separate from the building where we meet. For this series we are going to look at what is means to be 'the Church'. See you Sunday.

A Pilgrimage with the Apostles John and Paul

Pastor Craig will be hosting an informational meeting about the pilgrimage this Sunday, April 15th following the 11 am worship. Be sure to join him in the conference room to learn more details about how you can sign up for this great pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Apostles, John and Paul. Also, you may visit the pilgrimage website.

A day of fellowship and Bible study 

Saturday, April 21^st from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the Mission Viejo campus in Shepherd Hall.  

The topic is "We all seek contentment. Why do we long for it, and why is it elusive?" Join us in this group-lead, short Bible study. We'll also have fellowship time as we share some tea and treats. There will be a free will donation taken. Childcare is available upon request. Contact Lynne Saremi for additional information.

Keep it Positive Parenting Class

Wednesday evenings at the Mission Viejo campus beginning April 18^th through May 16^th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  The class will be led by Juda Carter. Free childcare is available! Register today online - space is limited. Cost is $110 per person or $175 per couple. Contact Juda at with any questions.
