Week of Oct. 9, 2011

Hello Friends,
This week we continue our series on being Cut to the Core. Last week we talked about the core of who we are, which is Love. This week we are going to look at how God wants us to rightly love ourselves. This is a tricky task to love ourselves as child of God. Love of self can easily tip toward arrogance or tip toward self hatred. This week we are going to talk about balance and the reasons why we know we can love who God created us to be. I am looking forward to being with all of you Sunday. Please pray for me and other team members who are going on a preliminary trip to Mexico to prepare the way for a future church wide mission trip coming this spring. See you Sunday!
~ Blessings, Pastor Sarah

 New Sermon Series October 9th - 23rd
When you get right down to it, what is it that really matters? Is it our jobs, our security, our families, our homes? What are the core values that guide our lives at home, at work, or wherever God takes us?
In this 3-part series we'll see that love is to be the core of our self, as God is - at the core, love. But what does that look like? Come and see...
