The U.S. Mint announced today that it is significantly raising the premium on all Silver American Eagle coins. This will require an across the board increase in all premiums on Silver American Eagle coins.

Silver has reached a new 30-year record high over the past week and is roughly half of its all time high, so it has plenty of room to grow. It is clear that the US Mint is raising the production price and other world Mints are expected to follow. If you already own Silver American Eagles, the value of your coins has steadily increased.
