Moving San Diego to a Clean Energy Future
Join the Worldwide Rally to Demand Solutions to the Climate Crisis!
Join us September 24, 2011 to say YES to a clean energy future and NO to climate destruction. Scientists tell us that 350 parts per million is the safe upper limit of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Currently we are at 394 and rising rapidly. Click here to read about the effects and dramatic impacts this could have on our community, nation, and world.
Local grassroots environmental groups are joining together to stage San Diego's response to the 350.org call for an international day of action on climate change.
Join SanDiego350.org along with thousands of people all over the U.S. for a march and rally to let our elected representatives know that we need them to act now on climate change. This event will take place at Balboa Park from 11am -1pm .
The event will be Mceed by our very own USGCC Chairman, Peter Zahn. Guest Speaker Congressman Bob Filner is showing his support for the movement, so should you!

Water for Children Music Festival & Eco Fair
The "Water for Children Awareness Music Festival and Eco Fair" will be held on September 24th, from 9am to sunset at the San Diego City College campus (near Balboa park) San Diego, CA. This is a free event hosted in conjunction with various community organizations working toward promoting and focusing on water conservation, education, and awareness.
