This year's San Diego County Fair is coming up from Friday, June 10th through Monday, July 4th. 

 

The U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce Day is Saturday, June 25th. We have 30 booths, and are very happy to be featuring our members.

Friday, July 15th is US Green Chamber of Commerce Day at Petco Park. Join us as we watch the Padres vs. Giants, with fireworks after the game.

 

This will be a great chance to network with other like-minded companies and individuals. 

 

Individual tickets will be at a discounted rate of $14.00. Buy a minimum of 10 tickets and receive a free table to market your company during the game. Come with your company and sign up with a group of 20+ and get an additional discount.

CleanTECH San Diego's Electric Vehicle Showcase

You're invited to the CleanTECH San Diego Electric Vehicle (EV) Showcase on Thursday, June 9 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the new LEED Silver certified Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier.

This year's event will feature keynote speaker, Legendary Spin to Win Indy 500 winner Danny Sullivan, who will discuss his passion for EV's and their growing role in the transportation ecosystem. Panelists will include Chris Anthony, CEO of Flux Power and Michelle Lesh, Western Region Sales Leader - Digital Energy at General Electric.

 

Join CleanTECH as they highlight our region's strong market for EV adoption and address the market and technology challenges that may accompany the massive transition. The showcase will include an interactive demonstration of leading EV-related technologies, including:

  • Nissan Leaf
  • SDG&E's Fleet Vehicles
  • Flux Power's Battery Systems in an ATV Polaris and Omega Electric Truck
  • GE EV Chargers

Featured Staff Member: Desiree Goehner

 desireeDesiree is our new social media & marketing intern, and a recent Environmental Studies Graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz. She offers insight and knowledge on "hot" environmental topics.

 

Prior work in sustainability includes teaching the Animal and the Environment class, and leading implementations on more sustainable practices at UCSC. 

 

In her free time Desiree enjoys revamping recipes 

to be vegan, hula hooping, and creating awesome recycle art. Her goal is to educate people on the issues of sustainability to promote awareness and community development as we work together to tackle the issues of climate change.
