Shortly after hosting the world's largest free annual Earth Day fair, EarthWorks announces the winners of the year's most influential environmentalists.
Proud of the U.S. Green Chamber's immense growth from a locally based nonprofit organization to the highly influential national organization it is today, Earthworks will present the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce with a 2011 EARTH Award at an event this week for its incredible commitment to a greener economy in San Diego and across the nation.

International speaker, Brother Ishmael Tetteh, will be joining the U.S. Green Chamber all the way from Ghana, West Africa for a spectacular event on May 31st. Brother Ishmael is the Founder and Spiritual Director of the Etherean Mission in Ghana, West Africa, a trans-denominational metaphysical organization dedicated to self-awareness and the study of the natural sciences. His message of World Peace has empowered the lives of thousands around the world from Africa, to Germany, to the UK and now the U.S. for more than three decades. As the author of over twenty two self-study books, Brother Ishmael's teachings about the harmonious functioning of the mind, body and spirit have guided countless individuals to a better life. Carbon Nation Movie Premier
Peter Byck's Carbon Nation, a climate change solutions movie, will premier at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park this Sunday, May 22nd. The documentary film will cover new energy solutions that boost the economy, increase national & energy security and promote health & a clean environment.

Featured Board Member: Courtland Weisleder
Courtland Weisleder is the founder of Greener Dawn, a company that provides services to Solar Installers, Energy Auditors, and Home Performance Contractors nationwide. In pursuit of his belief that alternative energy, renewable energy and clean technology can define and build a brighter future, Courtland founded the company and has since been recognized as one of the 35 Green Entrepreneurs under 35 by San Diego News Network as well as a Metro Mover in 2010 by the San Diego Metropolitan Magazine.
