One of the most respected leaders in the green business community, Jacquelyn Ottman, will be joining us all the way from New York for a presentation and discussion session at a US Green Chamber event, May 10th. 


As one of the nation's foremost experts on green marketing and eco-innovation, Jacquelyn is a pioneer of the kind of green marketing strategies that combat the greatest challenges involved in meeting consumers' needs in a sustainable way. She is the author of four books, including the newly released "The New Rules of Green Marketing," a founding co-chair of the Sustainable Brands conference, and a teacher of highly interactive workshops and master classes around the world.

Charged2020's Global Renewable Energy Forum 
July 11-12th

2020

Charged2020 will host its second annual senior executive summit July 11-12 at the University of San Diego, California. Charged202 is an organization that brings together key business leaders, researchers, technologists, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and investors along the renewable energy generation, storage and smart grid value chain in order to create strategies that will create a clean energy future through sustainable innovation. 

 

The conference will host a series of experts, addressing today's greatest renewable energy challenges. Some of these topics will include the resurgence of renewable energy in light of the Japanese nuclear disaster, driving radical innovation along the value chain to make clean energy cheaper and competitive with fossil fuels, finding new ways to curb emissions and the need for a more collaborative business paradigm.

Morgan Wood

 

     Morgan is one of the US Green Chamber's most recent additional staff members. As a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business Administration, Morgan has been an English teacher in Beijing, an Operations Manager for a small furniture manufacturer with offices in San Diego and Dong Guan, an assistant editor and writer for an expat magazine in Amsterdam, an editor for a real estate publication in The Hague and has recently founded a craft beer import business.

          After recently spending six months living and working in Europe, he has come to realize that San Diego is a great place to come home to. When he isn't working, Morgan is traveling, playing beach volleyball, taking pictures with his iPhone, writing about travel and music and indulging in San Diego's amazing craft beers. After a wide and varied work experience, he is eager to focus his energy and cultivate his passion for the environment by helping local and national businesses harness the power of sustainability.
