Our New Look
Over the past couple of months we have been hard at work enhancing our website. It has more robust information and resources. Here are three cool things about our new site:

1. Our new donor portal, givemiami, allows donors to access their Fund at the Foundation 24/7.
2.The new Foundation blog will provide timely information and community perspective.
3. We are more interactive. View a map of our 2012 Community Grants recipients here.

Leadership
Miami Fellows Profile

When Malik Benjamin, Miami Fellow Class VI, is asked about his experience he quickly replies, "I love it". For him and the other 16 members of his Fellows class, it has afforded him the opportunity to connect with some of Miami's most dynamic and innovative leaders, including University of Miami President Donna Shalala and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez.

Since joining the program, Malik was promoted to Director of Program Innovation at the FIU CARTA School of Architecture, voted onto the Technology Committee for the Faculty Senate at FIU and chosen as a South Florida Business Journal 2012 40 under 40 honoree.  Malik credits much of his recent success to the Fellows program and his mentor Jaret Davis, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig, and truly is an emerging leader in our community.
