Dear (Contact First Name),
April is always my favorite month in Tubac: warm enough to begin to entertain on our patio with lovely balmy days. On March 23rd we had our first evening wine and cheese reception of the season for two brother bikers who left from the Floating Stone last weekend to do part of the Anza Trail. Good luck to Mark and Ken whereever you may be! You can see a video of the event here.
Many of you may know already that we have formally kicked off an international search for a new owner of the Floating Stone. This will allow Rocky and I time to pursue the creative arts. Here is the letter I sent to the editor of Tubac Villager editor which better explains...
"It is with a mixture of joy and sadness that I am seeking a buyer/investor for my newly opened Inn & Aqua Spa, the Floating Stone. My passion was to develop an intimate wellness/retreat environment, nestled in an historic and artistic setting, with nature all around. When I first laid eyes on the Charles Poston Residence and saw the vacant land with an old cross (which turned out to be just one part of a laundry line with xmas lights), I knew what I wanted to create here. Being a former project manager and former workshop provider, I saw this development opportunity as a great way to tie the various threads of my life together. I threw myself into making the Floating Stone a 21st century spa with underground rain water harvesting, solar heating, and an all ionized-water facility which rids water of chlorine and other harmful chemicals. I found the areaʼs best massage and aqua massage therapists, offered water and land movement classes and entertainment, raw food cooking classes, dream groups, consciousness groups, and much much more in our Event Center. We have even had potluck dinners under the stars. There have been enchanting moments since we opened last June. I honor the many supporters and friends of the Floating Stone and I will miss all that we have shared together.
"However, I am hearing the call of retirement and am looking to hand over the reigns through a sealed-bid auction process. A new owner will be able to quickly take advantage and build on the amenities I have developed with pre-approved plans for expansion. And, they can build on the general good will we have already created with our customer base. "In terms of publicity, we were mentioned in the February publication of Sunset Magazine and have 4, 30-minute TV showings, in both Tucson and Phoenix of AAA High Roads with Dan Davies starting in late May. The press has woken up to us and our out-of-town visitors are growing with many repeat visitations. "Should you know someone who is interested in continuing the Floating Stone, please call Fernando Palacios 877 895-7077 from National Commercial Auctioneers." All bids must be received by the auction company by May 10th at 3pm. Please direct all questions to Fernando. The Inn & Aqua Spa will continue running with no interruption of services. John Martin replaced Pati Hope in operations so Pati can better focus on coordinating our programs. Let's have a great April and we'll see you in our classes, events, and spa. Our 20% discount on lodging is for your visiting friends and family members. Mention "code local" when making their reservation, and enjoy the aqua spa for free during their stay. This offer is good through the end of May.

Ahhhh-qua massage
While soaking in your
double-filtered, ionized pool at the new Floating Stone Inn and Aqua Spa, you might ask:
Does it get any better than this? Before you answer, try 50 minutes of gravity free stretching that helps joint and nerve decompression.
Or a water massage with someone gently kneading the stress points in your neck and back. Um, what was the question again?
