Floating Stone Inn & Aqua Spa
Three weeks ago, on June 4th, we openned our doors to the public. Though we suffered that day from a terrible fire right across the I-19, we're now busily introducing visitors and locals to our pools and inn, while developing programs, classes, and better defining our services. Jewel Livers just joined us as our new Wellness Manager. Welcome, Jewell!! Please make your reservation for our opening party on July 9th from 5pm to 9pm. This is a free event, but you need to RSVP by calling 520 398-3193. There will be demos of our massage and aqua massage treatments, including water-dance, a way of being gently moved under the water, our special 'alkaline/ionized/restructured' drinking water, Life-Wave patches, which offer pain relief among other things, and Nu Skin, an exciting anti-aging skin-care system. There will be wine and refreshments, Live African Kalimba Music by Mike Holdaway, and tours of the aqua spa pools, the newly renovated historic Charles Poston Inn Rooms and Casita Linda. We will also be having a raffle for some of our retail items. If you are away or have to miss the party, which we hope you won't, we're planning another, larger Grand Opening Party sometime after the first of next year. This one will be to introduce our snowbirds to the Floating Stone. Please spread the word as our opening party is only a week away. If you want a fun way to enjoy our pools, come to our many water-class offerings. See below. Our Aqua Aerobics Class is almost to the max, so we've added another one, Aqua Moves on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Aqua Yoga should be way cool with Kathy Edds, as should the early morning swim club with Rockwell. Don't forget to register for our Alkaline Living Workshop which will be held July 24th - 29th. This brings together Dr. Sian Camora, a Naturapathic Doctor and Chef Pascal, also a Naturapathic Doctor as well as a reknowned Chef, who will lead us in cooking with alkaline/ionized water and how to incorporate this magical substance into our daily lives - ridding our households of chemicals and boosting our health and wellbeing in so many ways. I have decided to open this class up to daily attendance for locals which means that if you can't attend the whole workshop, you can attend certain days for $79/day which includes enjoying our Aqua Spa. Don't forget that our entire facility which includes Casita Linda, the Event Center, the 3 pools, and our 6, off-site casitas can be rented out for private events. Imagine holding your next family or class reunion, wedding party, or executive retreat here! For smaller grous, you can rent Casita Linda (up to 10), or the Event Center (groups up to 20 - 30).
