Team registrations are now being accepted.   Round up your friends and co-workers and get your team together.   Our season will start the last week in August and run for seven weeks. Games will be once a week and last for one hour (even the seriously non-athletic can last one hour!)   You must be at least twenty years old. All teams must have at least four participants of each gender.   A sense of humor helps because few are as good as they thought they would be!   If you can't get a team together, still register and we'll try to match you up with a group looking for additional players.

We all think about trying to do something health outside so why not have fun doing it as well. We would love to see more neighborhood teams created. Country Green, Landis Green and Windtree were all well represented. Where are our neighbors in North Branch, Durham Ridge, Cabin Run and Fox Hunt ! Those in Point Pleasant, call your friends and get your team together.

Participants do not have to be residents, they just have to be able to get to the field by 6:00 pm.   Additional information along with the registration forms are posted online at Plumstead Park and Rec Website  If you have additional questions, my email and phone number are referenced online.

See you at the game!

In response to the 2010 Plumstead Township residential survey results it is clear to the members of the Park and Recreation committee that Walking Trails and Biking Trails were very high on the priority list for Plumstead residents. Walking Trails were requested 3 ½ to 1 over almost every other activity and Biking trails were requested 2 ½ to 1 . The Park and Recreation committee is aligned with the community and would like to move forward with the formulation of a network of Walking and Biking trails throughout our community. Some of our initial goals are to link our neighborhoods together, provide walking and biking access to our parks, access our village centers, and create network of safe corridors the residents of Plumstead to get outside and enjoy "Beautiful Plumstead".

Next we need your help we are looking for volunteers preferably from the different developments and areas all around Plumstead. If you are connected into the thoughts of your neighbors that is even better we want to take in consideration a well-rounded view of the issues, ideas and keep moving forward.  The Plumstead Township Supervisors depend on the Park and Recreation committee and the community to give them the feedback needed to understand the needs of the community. We welcome anyone interested in this topic to attend our Park and Recreation committee meetings held on the 4th Tuesday of every month where we will be appointing a subcommittee to carry this very important task forward.

Thank you for your interest in our community and desire to make a difference.
