1st Trails Committee Meeting:
October 22nd,
8 am, Landis Park
Please let Nick Lykon know if you can make it.
Hello All -
What kind of activities are important to Plumsted residents? BIKING, HIKING, WALKING, RUNNING, STROLLING, ROLLERBLADING, and GENERAL PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES were consistent requests from our community.
How can we make this happen? Our Trail Committee, which is a sub-committee of The Plumstead Township Park and Recreation Committee would like to get started implementing these activities throughout Plumstead and connect us to our neighbors!
The Meeting date is set for this Saturday, October 22, 8am at Landis Park. We will always try and meet in different areas of the township so we can learn more about our community. For those who cannot make the first meeting - don't fret we will have plenty of opportunity to get together.
Our objective is to make recommendations to the Park & Recreation Committee then on up to the supervisors on improvements and locations for trails in Plumstead Township. Click here to view our Park and Rec Trails webpage regarding plans, & trails map.
We will meet promptly for about 30 to 45 minutes then spend 15 to 30 minutes walking and talking about trails in the area. We will be looking for volunteers that want to accept positions of responsibilities
