It's Spring! Finally! I think we've all welcomed it, even with all of the rain. The Park and Rec Committee has lots of exciting endeavors this Season. Here's a glimpse of what were working on:

Tennis!
Tennis Program is coming to Plumstead:
Plumstead Park and Rec. has partnered with Bucks County Tennis Association to offer quality and an affordable tennis program for our community.

Location? Tohickon Middle School Tennis Courts.
Cost: $60.00
Who: Ages 4 up to adults
When: Registration is now open for two sessions:
Spring Season:
Mondays: May 23; June 6, 13, 20, 27 Rain date Sunday, 7/10
Pee Wees: 6:15 - 7:00 p.m.
Little Aces:6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Juniors: 7:00- 8:00 p.m.
Adult Beginners/Intermediates: 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Summer Season:
Mondays: July 11, 18, 25; Aug. 1, 8 Rain date Aug. 15
Pee Wees: 4:45-5:30 p.m.
Little Aces:5:30-6:30 p.m.
Juniors: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Adult Beginners/Intermediates: 7:30-8:30 p.m.

 Scavenger Hunt News
Back by popular demand, Plumstead Park and Recreation will host another Scavenger Hunt in the fall of 2011. Come one and all to help in the planning of this fun, creative, and unique event.
The first planning meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 24 @ 6:30 at the Township building. The meeting will only last one hour, and will discuss a date, ideas for the hunt, and give an overview of our goals and objective. We want our community to get involved and help create an event that shares all there is to Discover in Plumstead.

Egg Hunting Success
We've already blogged about this on Wordpress, but in case you missed it....
On Sunday, April 10th, a sea of 10,000 Eggs, could be seen at the Tohickon Middle School Football Field. The delight of so many kids seeing this was incredible!
It took two hours of many volunteer hands to stuff the Eggs back in March. Volunteers from the CB West High School Key Club also showed up on Sunday to help spread the eggs on the field and help our happy hunters.
Each age group had a "lucky" winner for a prize basket! To see more pictures, hop on over to Shutterfly or our facebook fanpage!
We'd also like to thank the generosity of the following:
- Giant ~ donated $50 in gift card ~ allowed us to purchase $50 worth of stuff.
- The Lucky Cupcake made 4 Bunny sugar cookies too!
