Thanksgiving Social
Please join us in celebrating the fall season. The Fountainview Center will be hosting an Open House for residents, families, and guests on Thursday, November 17th, from 6PM until 7:30PM. We will be having dessert and beverages. We are asking that each family member bring a favorite dessert to share. This event will take place on the various pavilions. Thank You For A Great 2011 Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease! | |
Thank you to our amazing walkers who participated in the Atlanta Walk to End Alzheimer's, on Saturday, October 8th at Atlantic Station.
The Fountainview Center Team raised $6,590 which exceeded our goal of $5000! We were able to exceed our goal because of the support we received for the Silent Auction, Health Fair, Raffle and from families and friends. We especially would like to thank Tina Anglin and Carol Spiess for their baked goods contributions. We would not have been able to do this without the support we received from everyone.

Namaste Updates  Recently West Pavilion had a visit from Joyce Simard, the creator of the Namaste program. She came during our morning session of Namaste and was totally in awe of how we have been able to provide the program for so many. Typically Namaste is provided in a room with 8-10 residents. Our devoted care providers are sucessfully implementing the program everyday for almost 40 residents! Joyce with tears in her eyes commented how overwhelmed she was with the love and tender touch the care providers demonstrated. She has plans to use our West Pavilion as a model for her future book.

Family Satisfaction Survey
We are committed to providing excellent care and service. My InnerView, an independent outside resource, was commissioned to conduct a satisfaction survey for our resident's families and our staff. We want to thank all of you for completing this survey. Your input will help us in two very important ways. It helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and it helps us to identify areas in which our staff has achieved excellence in the care and service they deliver.
