Respite Care

Often a benefit in Long Term Care policies, Respite Care covers temporary care for the Participant while the primary caregiver takes time off. A Respite Care benefit is important because it helps to protect the caregiver's physical and emotional health, which delays the Participant's need to enter a nursing home or assisted living facility. Respite Care is one of the many benefits included in the NPFBA Long Term Care Plan.
