Singers in Accord will conclude their 2010-2011 concert season with "Live, Laugh, Love," an engaging expression of classical, folk, pop and jazz choral music under the passionate direction of Jerry Rubino.

"It is a joy for me to return as artistic collaborator after conducting the group's debut concerts in 2010," says Rubino.  "Live, Laugh, Love, creates an opportunity to reflect on life experiences that we all share.  The repertoire represents many compositional and stylistic periods, from Mozart to the Great American Songbook."

This diverse presentation of music will include Mozart's joyful "Regina Coeli," Randall Thompson's moving "Alleluia," the classic arrangement of "Shenandoah" by James Erb, a collection of Broadway songs by Stephen Sondheim and other favorites by Faure, Haydn, Irving Berlin and Rodgers & Hammerstein.  Rubino's engaging artistry and meticulous crafting of the choral sound always leave the audience awed and inspired.

The chorale will be joined by pianist Bill Munson, bass player Jesse Reimer and percussionist Paul David Stanko for both performances.

These concerts are FREE.  Free-will donations will be welcomed to support the mission of Singers in Accord.  For more info, please visit www.singersinaccord.org.
