AUDITIONS FOR CHILDREN'S CAMEO ROLES AGES 7-12

 

Saturday, Sept 25

Registration starts at 1:00
Audition 2:00-3:45

 Arrival and sign in from 1:00-2:00

 

Children will be introduced to the audition process and parents will be walked through the rehearsal expectations and given the opportunity to sign up to work as a volunteer for the production.

Sharon E. Dante, Founder and Artistic Director of The Nutmeg Ballet announced upcoming auditions for youngsters ages 7-12 will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, September 25th at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts at 58 Main Street, Torrington, CT  06790 

 

Students will be auditioning for a number of "Children's Cameo Roles" including the opening Party Scene, Soldiers, Angels and Little Lords and Ladies.  They should arrive in dance attire and they will be escorted to The Nutmeg Premiere Studio to audition with Associate Director, Victoria Mazzarelli and School Director, Susan Szabo.

 

Auditions will officially kick off the NUTCRACKER rehearsal period which begins Oct 1ST and culminates with performances of Nutcracker at the Warner Theatre in Torrington on December 11th and 12th and The Bushnell Hartford on December 18th and 19th respectively.  There will be a total of 7 performances of The Nutmeg's traditional version of the perennial holiday ballet that is a must do event for families during the Holiday Season.
