Students meet with site visit hostsTFIM students plan conference

Employers ranging from a Strip District retailer to an Internet giant will host some 15 site visits at the 10th annual Student Leadership Conference organized by The Consortium for Public Education's career exploration program, The Future Is Mine. Brownsville students at CMUConsortium awards latest Great Idea Grants
 
The Consortium for Public Education's regional review committee selected 15 projects from 24 proposals to fund during the spring 2010 round of Great Idea Grants. The combined value of the awards was nearly $16,500. TFIM team wins grant in Voices of Youth competition
 
Steel Valley High School students participating in The Future Is Mine, The Consortium for Public Education's career exploration and student leadership program, collaborated with Environmental Club classmates on a project selected for funding in the Voices of Youth-Youth Creating Change competition.
