In my coaching class there is a fellow student, Diana Murphy who has a dream to create a home for children in Africa, her birthplace. I just published my book that I mentioned I was working on last month and decided to have the profit of the book go towards different children projects. She has already purchased the land for the home and is only about eight thousand short of her goal to have the funds to build the home. This is a good project for Nimbus and here is a link to the book to view.

I no sooner decided on this an I met a fellow Edmonds resident who also works with girls in Bali. For $400.00 they can provide a girl with food, shelter and solid education for a year. What a bargain that is. So it looks like I will split my efforts between the two. Here is the link to this project.

Last month I mentioned the art work of Joan Melton, but I misspelled her last name.. Sorry Joan. Look forward to any new art you send. I always start off the month with a blank slate so no idea what will show up for you to enjoy. I always just stay open for the possibilities and wait. Actually that is how I live my life being open for the possibilities and waiting for the magic to be delivered.
I got an email from someone who wanted to purchase one of my images on fine art America but I had already had that taken so I decided to do a batch of similar ones for that person to select from to see if there would be one that he liked. So here are those and since I was on a roll I decided to do a whole series of them and use that for my newsletter this month. These are the wax pad painting style that end up looking very Asian and something that appeals to my eye as well. Hope you like these and get inspired to give this method a try. There is something magical that happens with this style. The following 4 are the A6 size. These are the A4 size

As you have read I am expanding from art into you might call the art of living with life coaching. I am setting up to do online sessions on an inner active site where we can do video and or just audio and have white board and documents to share and to have the session recorded for use afterwards should someone want to have that as a resource.
Since I have that in place I am open to using it with this site as well for anyone who wants some of my time for art or other issues. Email me if you want me to put you on the list at johnvandebrooke@hotmail.com
I am looking at different sites to do this with and have not decided on which one to use as yet. Always a learning curve as well. I will use the go to meeting site for this month to try it out. By the way I could use some regular coaching sessions for anyone up for a try at that. I would give the sessions complementary for two reasons. One I can use them for requirement practicum for my last September class and two it is a lot of fun to experience. Come with an issue to explore or dive and and discover an issue in the process. Just email me and we can set up an online date. You should have a video camera with your device so we can not only video chat but have white board access as well. This offer is only good for September, then it will be a $1.00 a minute.
Here is a hug from Amparo Fernandez, I had to pass it along.
Also she just taught her first class of encaustics and had such a great time that I would encourage others to give this a try as it is so rewarding. Look at the faces of her class to see what I mean.
Had to sit my gallery hours so did 10 more of the A6 size for you during that 4 hours. Isn't it great to be able to do these in such a short time?

Just received these 4 from Blue Bridges-Fox, thanks for the input.

I also received a card from Bonita Williams who told me she is in her 80's and that taking my class several years ago has taken 10 years off her age, and that she is ironing her way to heaven. I loved that phrase so though I would post her card as she likes birds and flowers.

That should do it for this month,,,,
This video is over an hour long and I hope it will give you good information
in one chunk instead of in bits an pieces. I did it on a very small table to
show that this can be done anywhere, small apartment, to an RV. You do
not have to have a studio. Here is the link for the video. The sound can be
controlled on both the video and your computer.
