J & M Enterprises NewsletterThe Art Of Wax Painting
June 2011

John

       Remember this idea?

artomat

Well I spent a bit of time making 100 A6 cards to use as I was going to do up 100 of these blocks.   Here are a few of those.

So I cut and pasted up 50 using all the sides and I was done in after that many so I decided to sell those in my gallery and do another 50 with just the front side with the image and then paint the sides and paste a business card on the back. Still a lot of work but easier. So if I continue to do this I will use  that method. After they are all done I took the cellophane strip they provide and wrapped them with a note attached inside.

100 of  these later not to much time left over to flush out the newsletter. But you guys did not help either as no one sent me any images of their work.

Come on you must be doing some painting!

Now here comes the excuse that I have for not having time to do more for you this month. I just completed a NLP training to get certified and I also started a 5 month class on getting certified as a Life Coach. As you know last year I did an intensive Hypnosis course and without knowing how I would wrap all of this into my art I plunged ahead. Might be a clue that when you have a inner push to do something just follow that hunch.

After I finished my first weekend session on the Life Coaching I connected with a past graduate who has done some trainings around art and inspiration coaching. We hooked up and now have planned a class for June 5th for some of my classmates to use as a forum to develop this course idea. I am very interested to see how this unfolds and will keep you posted.

Still have our hands full with the new addition, Max.

This video is over an hour long and I hope it will give you good information in one chunk instead of in bits an pieces.  I did it on a very small table to show that this can be done anywhere, small apartment, to an RV. You do not have to have a studio.  Here is the link for the video. The sound can be controlled on both the video and your computer.
