MFAA expels broker for CPD fraud
| Sending a clear warning to its brokers, The MFAA has expelled its first broker for the falsification of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points hours.
MFAA Chief Executive Phil Naylor spoke at a roundtable discussion earlier this week, expressing that the industry body had expelled the broker on the grounds of providing false information.
Under the MFAA's new tiered professional framework, brokers are
expected to complete a minimum of 30 hours of CPD each year in order tomaintain their membership requirements.
