irst You Have to Count the Cost!

Are you performing "no charge" services for unscheduled service calls?  Too often what began as your good will gesture to a client, morphs into a clients right or entitlement - they already paid you, the home visits are free, right?  Free for who?

Here are results from a recent poll conducted by CE Pro Magazine.  What's your cost of rolling a truck on a service call?

Perhaps there aRecent Poll resultsre circumstances    that you feel a no charge event is good customer service. I won't disagree, however you need to always reinforce your value.

Establish the value of your service.  Invoice for the full value of the service call then include the adjusted invoice showing the amount of discount or full credit.

The Market Se
ts The Price.  Not making enough profit for your work?  Move to the Luxury Brands Market.  This market values craftsmanship, bespoke design and personal services.  Brand building is our specialty, we can help you build the most important brand in the world - Your Name.

Higher prices are already established and expected in the Luxury Market.  Trying to survive in a under priced/over populated/struggling middle market is not a good long term strategy.  All too often when price is the determining factor, you also risk establishing the wrong type of reputation that may devalue your company.

Do you want clients referring you because you're cheaper?  I would rather they say, "yes, they are a little more expensive, but their quality is well worth it".

Ultimately, your clients desire intuitive whole-house control.  You can now design complex control that is as simple to use as a Easy Button.

Turn any web enabled device; smart phone or tablet, into a control device with BitWise Controls IP enabled, PoE capable BC-4 automation controller and the BC4 Project Editor Software.

A wide range of interface options include other browser-based Graphical User Interfaces, Home Automation software, and more are also available from their many integration partners.

Devices such as the iPhone work well for personal use, but should not be the only controller.  Chances are you won't hand someone your phone to use as a remote control.

Your clients need a "community controller", such as URC, RTI and other commonly available remotes. BitWise Controls adds ease of use and reliable control without dramatically escalating cost.  We even play nice with Control4, AMX, Crestron and others.
