Out of an unfortunate event comes and amazing opportunity!
Our friend, Jaimie Goodwin recently injured her knee. We've been in contact with her over the past week as she awaited the results of an MRI. On Wednesday she shared with us that she has torn her MCL and LCL. Unfortunately, this means that she needs to stay completely off of her knee right now and will be unable to dance for 6 months as she recovers from reconstructive knee surgery.
Jaimie, Christina and I worked feverishly on Wednesday to make sure that your dancer's workshop experience would be just as amazing since Jaimie and her workshop partner, Bryan, are unable to share their talents with us this weekend.
We are thrilled to announce our workshop will now be taught by two incredible choreographers, teachers and dancers, Jesus Solorio and Menina Fortunato. The workshop schedule will be exactly the same. Your dancer will love these incredibly talented stars!

Jesus Solorio, born and raised in Paso Robles has worked his way into the world of entertainment. By winning the hearts of America through FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance", Jesus has taken Hollywood by storm. He hit the dance floor as a choreographer and trainer on OXYGEN'S "Dance Your A** Off" Season's 1 and 2. Success continues to follow Jesus as he landed a role as a singer/dancer on FOX'S hit series "Glee" and DISNEY'S "Hannah Montana".
Jesus Solorio has worked with the likes of Lithgoe Family Productions, Doriana Sanchez, Sarah S, Liana, Maya, Oscar de la Hoya, Chita Rivera, Circo Fantastico, Royal Caribbean, and Cirque du Soleil.
Jesus has also written, created and directed his own stage show "DreamCatcher" which has been a huge success.

Menina, a Portuguese and French Canadian, began her professional career at the tender age of 12 in Vancouver where she grew up. She has been based in Los Angeles, CA for thelast 8 years where she maintains a hectic schedule as an international freelance dancer, teacher, choreographer, actor, model, director, producer and entrepreneur.
Menina has performed extensively in North America, South America, Asia & Europe in front of stadium crowds of up to 60,000 on world tours with legendary Earth Wind & Fire, latin superstar Luis Miguel, Korean Pop Sensation Rain (Bi) and Nuclear Cowboyz - a freestyle motocross show.
Menina's film credits include Nickelodeon's Spectacular!, C.L.A.S.S., House Bunny, Kickin It Old Skool, Crank 2: High Voltage, & Poseidon.
Select TV appearances include Star Trek: Enterprise, ALIAS as Jennifer Garners Dance Double, NBA All-Star Half-Time Show with Beyonce, The CBS Early, MAD TV, Blue Collar TV, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, VHI's Celebrity Fit Club, Spike TV's Guy's Choice Awards with Carmen Electra, ZZ Top, & Asher Roth.
She can be seen in several commercials for Pepsi with Britney Spears, Nationwide with MC Hammer, Sprite, Mervyn's with Holly Robinson, & Lux Shampoo with Keira Knightly.
As a choreographer, she has worked on VHI's Celebrity Fit Club, The Cheetah Girls - One World Premiere Party, Sprite Commercial, C.L.A.S.S. starring Tom Sizemore, PopKomm in Germany, music videos for Nicki Foxx, Bryton McClure, Jordan Setacci, Penfifteen Club & Raza Obrera, NBA Toronto Dance Pak & The New York International Music Festival. She has also choreographed Luis Miguel's World Tour. Eight $500 scholarships will be awarded for "Hollywood Summer Tour" to participants in Sunday's workshop at Crosstown Life Time (4 kids & 4 teen/adults). The Hollywood Summer Tour is a dance career intensive for advancers dancers who are serious about pursuing a dance career in Los Angeles.
