  • Dancers-only Lock-in 6-10 p.m.
Our annual Company Lock-in is just around the corner! This is a time for our company dancers to get to know each other and do some team bonding. This year will have a disco theme. Please come in your best 70's attire. We will have a prize for the dancer with the most outrageous outfit! 
 
Each team will make a team poster. Please have your dancer bring a picture that can be used on her/his team's poster. We will also add hand prints to our wall. Even though we try to be very clean and careful while adding hand prints, sometimes clothes get stained, so please dress accordingly.
 
This event, like all other company events, is mandatory. We will be locking the doors all evening for your child's safety. Younger dancers are allowed to leave early to get to bed. Make sure to sign up on the company wall for an early pick up time so we know when to expect you.  
 
If you haven't yet signed up for what you will bring to the pot luck, please do so today or call ASAP.

Intermediate/Advanced Workshop with 

Jaimie Goodwin & Bryan Tanaka

9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

This workshop is perfect for our competition dancers of any age. Jaimie and Bryan will teach stretching, technique, hip hop and contemporary for intermediate/advanced dancers. This exciting day will conclude with a mock audition

Kid's Hip Hop Workshop  

with Bryan Tanaka

9:30-11:00 a.m. Nov. 6 

Bryan Tanaka 

This workshop is for younger dancers, recreational or competition. Bryan will teach a 1.5 hour hip hop workshop for dancers age 5-11.

DanceXchange instructor and workshop director, Christina Koskinen will be on hand at the lock-in to answer questions and take registrations. Registrations are welcome at the studio front desk any time. Please call Christina if you have questions, (952) 996-9686 ext. 9.

Reminders...

  • If your dancer is considering adding or dropping a class, please complete the change as soon as possible. Class fees (costume, competition, accessory and recital fees) are non-refundable after Oct. 31.
  • Competition season schedule conflicts must be submitted to our office by Dec 1. 
  • Please inform us at least one week in advance if your dancer will be absent for any reason. Extra absence forms are available at the front desk.
  • Sick dancers should not come to the studio unless you are certain that they are not contagious. Absences due to sickness are not counted.
  • Order forms and payment for Company Warm-ups and Competition Make up are due by Oct. 20. Extra forms are available at the studio front desk.
