Congratulations dancers and parents on a very successful competition season. We are absolutely amazed at the number of high point awards our dancers received this season. We have made huge "leaps" as a studio in both technique and performance and we couldn't be more proud.

ALL Company dancers work on Finale and run dances from 6-8 p.m.

Friday, June 3 at The Arts Center on 7:

Some A Company dances rehearse between 5:30 and 7:00

All-Studio Award Ceremony from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

ALL Company dancers run finale on the stage from 8:00-9:00 p.m.

Open stage for any solos, duets or groups wanting to run dances 9:00-10:00 p.m.

Kids' Camp Assistants Needed

We need dancers ages 10+ to help with Princess Camp (July 11-15) and ages 12+ to help with Rock Star Camp (July 18-22).

Dancers help with crafts, snacks and assiting the campers with their performance. This is a great way to get experience as an assistant teacher and have to have a ton of fun!

This is a volunteer opportunity, but we do offer the first 12 assistants a $40 credit to their studio account as a thank you for their help.

Please email us or sign up in the lobby. You must be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the entire camp week in order to assist. If you have ANY conflicts during the week, you can sign up as a volunteer ONLY.

Audition Prep Camp

Audtition Prep Camp is June 27-30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Dancers will work on technique and skills to prepare for company auditions on Thursday, June 30.

We will teach the routines for auditions during prep camp. We highly recommend Prep Camp for all company dancers especially if you are interested in "moving up" next season.

Registration for Audition Prep Camp is due by June 13 (cost: $180 includes audition fee).

Nationals Rehearsals

We are so excited to attend Midwest Starz Nationals, June 16-19, 2011. Nationals rehearsals are as follows:

Monday, June 13:

All A Company dancers run through dances from 5-7 p.m.

All B & C Company dancers run through dances from 7-9 p.m.

(If you are only in one or two dances, please come for the whole two hours to support and encourage your teammates)

Tuesday, June 14:

Nationals 2011 Pep Rally!

ALL Company dancers run all dances from 5-8 p.m.

All dancers should stay for the entire pep rally to support and encourage your teammates.

Get excited! This is our last practice before Nationals!!

We are still waiting for the Nationals schedule. As soon as we have it, we will post it and let you know. We expect it approximately one week prior to the competition (June 9).

So far the only information we have from the competition is that Thursday, June 16 will be solos only and groups will begin on Friday, June 17 at Noon.

We do not know which groups will be on which days yet (Friday, June 17, Saturday, June 18 and/or Sunday, June 19). That information will be available one week prior to the competition.
