Your daughter's teammate, Anja Beth Swoap, has once again made it to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC in June. ESPN does extensive coverage of this competition. They are coming to town tomorrow to get some footage of Anja Beth doing "non-spelling activities." They are bringing a film crew to the B Company kick line class tomorrow, May 5. We are waiting for word from the competition, and with their permission, they will also tape the girls performing "You Make the Rain Fall" on Friday evening.
The link below will bring you to the release form for ESPN to use your daughter's image in their television broadcast in early June. Please print this form, sign it and send it with your daughter to dance tomorrow. If you forget to send the form tomorrow, no worries. We will make sure to get all of the release forms to ESPN as soon as possible. If you are not interested in having your daughter in the broadcast, please email or call me so I can be sure that ESPN knows before taping begins.
Your daughters do not need anything special for Thursday evening. However, they may want to take a few extra minutes making sure that the way they present themselves on Thursday is something that they want to share with the world =). Please let me know if you have any questions.
