This is my last newsletter as your president. I have had a wonderful time the last three year working with all the trustees, officers, board & committee members and serving you, the membership. We have accomplished a great deal for our chapter members. We set up a new foundation with incoming President Mark Linden CEC AAC tireless hours of work, a scholarship program for our student members, a new ACF apprenticeship program with John Fisher CEC CCE AAC and Jeff Pratt's diligent effort, a Best of the Northwest annual competition with the help of Kevin Baylock CEC CSEC and Karl Nore.

I have met so many new members and listened to their passion about food, education and their individual goals. Yes it has been quite an experience, one that I will always remember with for the rest of my life. Thank you for letting me be of service to you.

December Holiday Dinner w/ Fundraising Silent Auction

The holiday season is upon us and it is time for our annual holiday dinner and silent auction. We are having the December Dinner at the Mirabella at Lake Union. Chef Jeremy Nowak CEC is preparing a fantastic three course meal and appetizers for our reception hour. The silent auction is to benefit our education foundation. If you have any items, culinary books, equipment, local gift certificates and gift baskets bring them at least 1 hour before the reception so we can properly display and mark your items for bid.

Please join us for the great food, networking and a wonderful cause helping our local students. Also, we are presenting the Chef Darrell Anderson annual scholarship to one of our local students.
