As you know, we typically focus on State-level advocacy. But ANCOR, our national association, has asked that we share this critically important federal action alert with our members.
Please take just a few minutes to complete the steps to personalize and send email to the White House and to your members of Congress asking them to protect Medicaid funding. (please note that the email has blanks that must be personalized or edited - but it only takes a few minutes).
In Maryland, community-based developmental disability supports rely on federal Medicaid funds to pay for approximately half of the cost - any funding reductions would be devastating. ANCOR believes that the grassroots voices to advocate for Medicaid need to be much more vocal, as there are many competing constituencies, and Medicaid funding is in jeopardy.
It only takes a few minutes to complete the email "letter" using the ANCOR links provided below. If you would like additional information, there is a link to briefing materials as well.
