INTRODUCING THE MINNESOTA MUSIC COALITION

MCC logo

Tony Mendoza along with several friends and colleagues from the local music scene, are proud to introduce the Minnesota Music Coalition (MMC).  The mission of the MMC is to connect and support Minnesota's creative community of independent musicians.  The MMC is a statewide network for independent musicians who care about creating and sustaining a vibrant popular music community. Through education, communication, and advocacy, the MMC will create access to resources and professional development services for musicians.  The MMC hopes to build its organization on the model of organizations like The Loft Literary Center, The Playwright's Center, and Northern Clay.  Our first major initiative is the Caravan du Nord, a statewide tour of Minnesota's finest indie musicians throughout Greater Minnesota that will commence this Fall.  The tour will feature Minnesota's finest indie musicians performing at regional historic theaters around the state.  For more information about the Caravan du Nord or about the MMC, visit the MMC's web site (www.mnmusiccoalition.org).  From there you can "Like" us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
