Week in Review

Halloween Tracts
Last week we announced in the BLOG that we had extra Halloween tracts. They were quickly spoken for and mailed out last Thursday. Those that requested them likely have them by now.

On Friday, Brian and Craig were able to meet in the Dallas West End at the DART station to do some witnessing. They had a number of wonderful conversations. We are planning to return to this favorite fishing hole on Friday at lunch time!

On Sunday, we packaged the envelopes for the November mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club. Many thanks to all those who helped. Whether it was packing the envelopes, folding the letters or precounting tracts, we could not have done it without you! The club has nearly reached 650 members now. We are sending a new "Get Out of Witnessing Free" card for you to give to your Christian friends to encourage them to share the Gospel too. The card is actually an ad for the Bezeugen Tract Club and Basic Evangelism Training Seminar. When you get these cards, please give them to your friends and ask them to go to the Bezeugen Tract Club web site to enroll!

As You Go

On Thursday, we concluded "Tract a day in September" with daily articles on the As You Go BLOG. During September I was tracking how I handed out a tract a day. I used many tracts both our own and those from other places.

In October, I am continuing to BLOG each day but this time each update is how I handed out a tract from the October Bezeugen Tract Club mailing each day. The picture above is my tract club packet that I opened up on Friday to get started. Please check the As You Go BLOG to track my progress. Feel free to post comments of how you handed out your tract each day as well.

Sharing Jesus Without Fear

Bill Faye has an evangelism method called Sharing Jesus Without Fear. I've been doing some study on this and looking at how to adapt it to include the Law and repentance. Look for more on this in the Bezeugen BLOG in a week or so.

Looking Ahead

As we look forward, the following things are going on:

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 7th is our First Thursday Day of prayer. I encourage you to join us at the City Hall in Carrollton (NE corner of Josey and Jackson) or at Craig's office in Dallas. If you are unable to make those locations, then please consider your own time of prayer for our nation, leaders and revival at noon on Thursday at your City Hall or place of business.

Sunday, October 10th there will be an outreach at the Dallas Cowboys game in Arlington. If you are interested in going with the group please email me and I will put you in touch with those that are going. We printed Dallas Cowboys Football Trivia tracts for the event!

Our 33rd Basic Evangelism Training Seminar will take place October 21st in Carrollton, TX at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. You can enroll online.

We are planning to host an Open Air Campaigners training in early October. Watch this newsletter for an announcement coming soon with the details.

Praise that we found a translator for Urdu version of the God's Way / Man's Way tract. Now we need a typsetter so we can lay out and print the tracts.

If you are interested in receiving this email with the complete list of events so that you can participate in the events or provide prayer support, then please send me an email and I will add you to that distribution. A partial list of witnessing events is provided here.

Monday's and Thursday's at lunch: witnessing at Valley View Mall, Gravevine Mills Mall, Irving Mall or Brookhaven College. If you would like to join us, please contact me for the specific location and time for a given day.
