Greetings!

Last week we announced a new website for the Bezeugen Tract Club. This week we got the rest of the tracts posted along with a BLOG entry telling the story of each tract. I also added a couple more pages with additional resources.

September is "A Tract a Day" month. There is a Facebook event with over 100 people signed up. We encourage you to join us in handing out a tract each day during the month of September. I'll be posting an entry to the As You Go BLOG with how I handed out a tract each day and then sharing that link on the Facebook fan page. I encourage you to post to the comments of the BLOG or on the Facebook fan page your experiences as well.

Saturday night we had a wonderful time sharing the Gospel at the Frisco Rough Riders game. You can read about it in the BLOG.

On Monday, the weather was cool enough to go downtown Dallas. As I packed up my bag, I put a Bible in it. We have lots of Bibles to give away, but I hardly every bring them. I need to make it a habit to have them with me. God sure had a reason for me to have it this time. Craig and I were at the DART station and had a number of good one on one conversations. I talked with Larry, a man who said he was terminally ill with less than one year to live. I said, "Larry, may I ask you a question?" He said, "Yes." I said, "you are probably already thinking a lot about this, but what do you think happens when you die?" He explained that "if there is a God and a Heaven then we all go there." I asked if I could tell him what the Bible says. He said yes. For the next 15-20 minutes, I explained the law and the Gospel to Him starting with "have you ever lied" and ending with "God commands you to repent and trust Jesus." He said, "wow, that is good news." I said, "yes, Larry, that is why Gospel means good news." He had read the Bible, but did not have one. So I gave him the Bible I had put in my bag and encouraged him to read it starting at John. He was so happy and thanked me for talking to him. Please pray that he will come to faith in Jesus!

Texas Revival Series
The Lost Cause Ministries is presenting the 3rd Texas Revival Series on October 9th in Allen, TX from 1-8PM. The keynote speaker will be Tony Miano, Director of the Living Waters Ambassadors Academy. The theme is preaching the excellencies of Christ. Bezeugen Ministries will have a table setup giving away a new tract for sharing the "excellencies of Christ". The tract will also be in the November tract club mailing. We just ordered 15,000 of these new tracts! Come to the conference and get some before everyone else! Registration is free on the web site.

If you are coming to Dallas for this event, please consider joining us for an outreach at the Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday. We are developing a Dallas Cowboys Trivia Tract to hand out there! We just ordered 5,000 of these tracts for this outreach!

Super Bowl Outreach

The NFL players and teams are headed to training camp. And we are gearing up for the end of the season already. Please pray about joining us for the Super Bowl Outreach. The dates are February 3-6th, 2011. Registration is now open. Three nights accommodation at Camp Copass in Denton, TX is included for just $199. Bezeugen is a partner with Sports Fans Outreach and will be an exhibitor at the event as well.

Witnessing Events
and Calendar

We now have a separate mailing list for the complete list of witnessing events. If you are interested in receiving this email with the complete list of events so that you can participate in the events or provide prayer support, then please send me an email and I will add you to that distribution. A partial list of witnessing events is provided here.

The Bezeugen Calendar is now on Google. You can import it into your own calendar. Or visit the calendar on our web site.

Monday's and Thursday's at lunch: witnessing at Valley View Mall, Gravevine Mills Mall, Irving Mall or Brookhaven College. If you would like to join us, please contact me for the specific location and time for a given day.

Wednesday, September 1 - Witnessing in Carrollton or Denton. Contact Todd for details. 6:30-8PM

Thursday, September 2 - First Thursday Day of Prayer at noon at your local City Hall or place of business. Join us in Carrllton or Dallas if you are able. Contact me for logistics.

Thursday, September 2 - possible outreach at Dallas Cowboys pre-season football game. Let me know if you are interested.

Friday, September 3 - witnessing at Collin Creek Mall or Stonebriar Mall (TBD) from 11:30-1PM.

Monday, September 6 - First Monday packaging of the Bezeugen Tract Club. Please note special time for Labor Day. We will meet at 5PM for dinner. Pack tracts starting at 6PM and hopefully be done at 8PM. Your help is appreciated. Please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare.

Thursday, September 9 - witnessing in Dallas from 11:30-1PM. Contact Craig for details.

Saturday, September 11 - Door to Door Evangelism in Carrollton, TX with First Baptist Hebron.

Thursday, September 16 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar in Pilot Point, TX. Enroll online. 7-9PM. Come at 6:30 and join us for dinner.

Friday, September 24 - Outreach at Brookhaven College, Dallas 11:30-1PM.

Saturday, September 25 - Outreach at Texas State Fair. TBD
