Greetings!
Please mark next Thursday, June 3rd on your calendar. It's Mande and Carl's wedding anniversary! Well, yeah, but also, that is the launch of the Bezeugen sponsored First Thursday Prayer time. Like the National Day of prayer we are suggestion that you go to your city hall (or other selected spot) and pray for our nation, state and city. Pray for our leaders. Pray for revival. Pray for people to repent and believe the Gospel. So far we have three groups: Carrollton, Dallas and Fort Worth. If you'd like to organize a group, then please let us know. A new First Thursday Day of Prayer BLOG has been started for this effort.
This week we had another successful outreach at the Dallas West End DART station. We had part one of our two part May training seminar. On Saturday we had our second outreach in the park. On Sunday we preached about how to share the Gospel at ECC. The audio of the message is include in the BLOG post. There are a number of other updates in the BLOG as well as a number of new videos on our YouTube page. In addition, Shane Dodson posted some videos of me preaching at the Carnality Ball, OU football game, Dealey Plaza and WinterJam.
This weeks memory verse is Matthew 5:11. This is a reminder that when we are persecuted for the sake of Christ we are blessed. This might take many forms. For me, it took the form of being yelled at, cursed at, told that I was a freak and even flipped off while reading Ephesians 1 in the park on Sunday. When I told my wife what happened, she said, "so a pretty good day!" Actually she is right.

The tract club is growing rapidly. We have added over 30 new members in the last week. Please continue to tell your friends! We have a new tract coming out in August that we hope you'll like using when asking people what they think happens when they "kick the bucket"!

We appreciate your prayers
- Pray for funding of the "to the end of the earth" project. The first three languages of the tract have been sent for print setup. We are praying for the funding to print the tracts in Portuguese and Luganda as well.
- Pray for the growth of the tract club. Pray also for the finances to keep this going, growing and free. We need approximately $1.50 per month per member to fund this effort.
- Pray for the development of a door hangar to use in the door to door ministry.
- Pray for preparation for Fourth of July outreach in The Colony, TX.
- There is a group interested in at least monthly outreach in the Dallas West End. Please pray for the logistics of this to come together.
- Pray for the names of people that we have witnessed to that they may receive eternal life through repentance and faith in Jesus.
