Greetings!

Only two days until 2010. If you are working on making a New Year Resolution, how about resolving to increase your witnessing for Christ. If you are not already enrolled in the Bezeugen Tract Club, why not enroll today and get a supply of tracts from us each month. Or why not resolve to get involved with Project Ezra or some to some witnessing events with us?

Year in Review

As 2009 draws to a close, we look forward to the many things that God has for us to do in 2010. But, before we go there, I thought it would be good to take a few minutes to reflect on what God has done through Bezeugen Ministries in 2009.

Project Ezra
Luke 2 and John 1
This past Saturday, I went door to door in my neighborhood before taking Brendan and gong to meet Deb and Roy to do Project Ezra in Dallas before the Dallas Mavericks game. An interesting thing happened. While going door to door, I got to talking to someone in my neighborhood about the ministry, training and witnessing events. As I noticed what time it was and that I needed to be home to get ready to go, I mentioned to him that we were going to to witness at the Dallas Mavericks game. I then headed home and ate lunch. While I was eating, he pulled up in front of my house and came up and knocked on the door. "Can I go to witness at the game with you", he asked. WOW! Of course, I said yes. So he came with me and he also handed out a number of tracts with use before the game.
At the game, we handed out about 1000 Gospel tracts, read the Project Ezra chapters several times each, and open air preached. We had a number of good one on one conversations with people.I suspect our new friend will be on the streets with us again in the near future.
Prayer Requests
We appreciate your prayers

  • Pray for something big that God is showing me. I'll provide details soon.
  • Pray for Super Bowl Outreach, February 4-7 in Miami
  • Pray for those in our ministry who are attending Ambassador Academy in the next few months,
  • Pray for healing for tract club member Tim Heaton who  underwent surgery. He is now home from the hospital and continues to recover.
  • Pray for healing of chronic shoulder pain of tract club member Betty Taylor
  • Pray for the development and ideas of some new tracts. Valentines tract is in final stages of preparation.
  • Please pray for Moses in Uganda as he continues to take mission trips and share the Gospel. The tracts we sent in June have arrived in Uganda. Read the latest Grace Bible Church monthly newsletter to hear how they were used.
  • Please pray for the 2010 Basic Evangelism Training Seminar dates, typically the third Thursday of each month. The next two seminars are January 21 in Carrollton and February 18 in Pilot Point.

and Calendar

If you are interested in receiving this email with the complete list of events so that you can participate in the events or provide prayer support, then please send me an email and I will add you to that distribution. Monday's and Thursday's at lunch: witnessing at Valley View Mall, Galleria Mall, Gravevine Mills Mall, Irving Mall or Brookhaven College. If you would like to join us, please contact me for the specific location and time for a given day.

Friday, January 1 - New Years / Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas. TBD. Please contact me if you are interested.

Saturday, January 2 - Cotton Bowl witnessing. See TLC BLOG for details. Meet across from the Wal-Mart in Arlington at 10AM.

January 9 - Open Air and witnessing in Bricktown in Oklahoma City.

January 21 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar at Escape, 1016 E Hebron Pkwy, Suite 180, Carrollton. 7-9PM

February 18 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar at Hot Grill Steak House in Pilot Point.
